URBANA — An Urbana man is being held at the Champaign County Jail in connection with an armed robbery on Friday night. According to a police report, a 26-year-old Urbana man and an 18-year-old Urbana man reported being robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot in the 1500 block of East Washington Street, Urbana, at 10:45 p.m. The robber reportedly took cash, a cell phone and video accessories. read more

She's volunteering a year of her time with the Working Boys' Center in Quito, Ecuador. "I always had plans for this," Meyers said. "I wanted to do long-term volunteer work."
